Contest Description: The Snap Riot Digital Photo Contest is open to high school and undergraduate students in the Greater Chicagoland Area, including the following counties: Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, McHenry, and Will Counties. Capture a photo that inspires you to take action in support of human rights on your campus or in your community. Live or staged content is accepted and you are allowed to use Instagram to enhance your photo. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Three grand prize winners will receive one new iPad, a one year membership to Amnesty International and have the option of appearing in a short video ad for Amnesty International in Chicago. Winning photos will be displayed at the Uri-Eichen art gallery in Chicago, beginning on December 14th, in honor of International Human Rights Week. Grand prize winners will also have the option of receiving a $1000 stipend to start a new Amnesty International or human rights group on their campus or to cultivate an existing group.
